There is something about Mexico that feeds my soul.
Sitting in the Cancun airport awaiting my flight home to Toronto I felt happy and content. Another visit had brought be back to who I am, or the version of myself where I feel most at peace. Inspired. I’m not sure exactly what it is about Mexico… the ocean, sand, sun? Or maybe the combination of all three. Whatever it is, Mexico has become another home-away-from-home for me over the past six years or so.
This trip was especially special because I had taken my 13 year-old along with me. She’s at such an interesting age and who she was at eight years-old (the last time I took her to Mexico) was so completely different than the young lady she is today. We had so much fun!
We can hardly wait to go back.
